Abstract
The bachelor thesis deals with functioning of the Czech Republic. In the first part author characterizes specialities of the housing market and clarifies formation of supply and demand of flats. Then specifies subjects of the housing market and differentiates legal right of usage of flats, specifficaly rental housing, co-operative housing and owners housing. The second part of the thesis contains the analysis of housing market of Ostrava. Author examines influence of economic development and population structure on the housing market. Also deals with progress of prices of flats and progress of rent. The last part is written like magazine about housing.
