Abstract

The subject of the thesis is the deepening of knowledge about high-rise buildings made of steel, steel-concrete and the calculation of the load-bearing capacity of the main load-bearing elements, which was carried out both by a manual calculation or by an opinion in Microsoft Excel but also by the commercial software Dlubal rFem. The work describes the layout and construction of high-rise buildings, the assessment of the main structural elements and liaisons according to Eurocode 3 and 4. The work also discusses the possibilities of numerical software for calculation by the finite elements method. Part of the work is a description of the creation of a model for numerical simulation of wind using Dlubal Rwind. The work describes the operating principle of the established computational programme to assess the supporting elements of the coupled steel-concrete ceiling. It has been verified that the resulting values of the manual calculation are identical to the calculation made by the commercial software Dlubal rFem.
