Benchmarking vybraných těžebních podniků

Abstract

The aim of this bachelor thesis is a comparison of four mining companies focused on brown coal mining via ratio indicators with the following implementation of mathematical-statistical methods. The comparison of the above-mentioned enterprises took place within five years. A theoretical part is focused on a term benchmarking and a theory of mathematical-statistical methods. A practical part implements selected ratio indicators in Microsoft Excel environment, i.e. five mathematical-statistical methods, all thanks to automatically inserted formulas. Necessary data of chosen companies were processed from professional literature and company accounts for the period 2013–2017.
