Abstract

This thesis focuses on safety of shopping centers in comprehensive conception. The introduction part deals with common description of shopping centers and follows their history and development in Czech Republic as well as abroad. Further on the statistics of extraordinary events and analysis of potential risks is introduced, which can endanger the security of shopping centers. There are three methods used for an analysis: Ishikawa diagram, computer program SFERA and analysis What if. In second half of the thesis there are described current security techniques and operation of shopping centers, and the enumeration of basic safety documentation is stated here. Last part of this work examines the dilemma of comprehensive safety by itself and subsequently proposes the technique of comprehensive security system implementation into the operation of shopping center.
