Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the design and assessment of geotechnical constructions to secure excavations of building pits according to EUROCODE 7. Five options of casing constructions are described in this paper, that can and often use stabilization by anchoring. The anchor elements used, the anchor types, the technological implementation procedures, the anchor protection, the design approaches and the ways of assessing the anchored wall by various calculation models are developed in the report. The practical part of the thesis gives an example of an anchored pile wall using the GEO 5 program. The wall is calculated by all design approaches in different combinations. At the end of the work, all the results obtained are evaluated, compared, interpreted and compared with the recommended design procedure according to EC 7.
