Abstract

The Bachelor thesis is focused on study of slag regime at production of high-alloyed steels in the electric arc furnace. The introductory section provides the theoretical knowledge about the of oxidation course and reduction of chromium in the production of high alloyed steels. The following section, which is based on analysis of literary knowledge from foreign authors focusing on the mechanism of the chromium oxide reduction with using ferroalloys, on the chemical and mineralogical composition of chromium slag and study of laboratory and plant melts at the production of high-alloyed steel.
