Abstract
The goal of this diploma thesis is analysis of Urban Search and Rescue Team (USAR) of the Czech Republic for solving emergencies in the Czech Republic but its connection within the frame of International Rescue Operations is also possible.
In the introductory part the thesis deals with humanitarian assistance, its division and way of providing in form of Search and Rescue Team. There is not described only team structure but one of the most important body – dog handlers unit. This thesis also describes complicated way of USAR Team dispatch to abroad.
Other part of thesis deals with International Operations Centres, stress and psyche of rescuers, team training and confrontation with foreing teams.
The part of thesis is also comparison of Czech USAR Team with foreign teams and mention of some important interferences in the Czech Republic and also abroad.
