Automobilový průmysl a jeho vliv na vývoj ekonomiky České republiky

Abstract

The aim of thesis „Automotive industry and its impact on economic development in the Czech Republic“ is a description of historical development of an automotive industry in Czech Republic, analysis of the importance of the automotive industry on selected macroeconomic indicators in the period 2000-2010 and analysis of consumer demand as well as outlook for use of vehicles with alternative propulsions. The first part describes classification of automotive industry according CZ-NACE, Standard international classification of goods SITC and also mentions historical development of this sector. The next chapter focuses on selected macroeconomic indicators like GDP proportion, employment, average wages and also foreign trade. The last part mainly deals with development of consumer demand, outlook for use of vehicles with alternative propulsions and the vision for road transportation by 2030.
