Abstract

The name of the thesis is to Analysis of the purchasing process in the manufacturing company with focus on assessment of suppliers The aim of thesis is, on the basis of the identification of the shortcomings of the existing methodology for the evaluation of suppliers, to develop proposals for improving the current system of assessment of suppliers and create the conditions for evaluation in electronic form. The thesis is divided into four chapters , introduction and conclusion. The second chapter focuses on the theoretical knowledge. There are explained the activities related to the purchase process with a focus on the selection and evaluation of suppliers. The following chapters is a practical part of the thesis. In the third chapter is characterized by the company Miroslav Chuděj, s. r. o., the beginnings of the genesis, production process and product line of the company. The fourth chapter is divided into two parts. The first part is devoted to the analysis of the purchasing process of the company. The second part of the chapter is focused on the analysis of the current system of selection and evaluation of suppliers, on the criteria and their explanatory value. In the fifth chapter are listed proposals for the improvement of the current system of evaluation of suppliers. Proposed modification of the existing criteria and the introduction of new criteria. For each criterion was designed sub criterion to achieve higher explanatory value of evaluation. Was suggested a more concise description of individual criteria. The individual criteria were assigned weights of importance. It was proposed implementation of the five groups. These groups will be classifying contractors according to the points gained from the evaluation. To simplify the process of evaluation of the suppliers of the company was designed system of evaluation of vendors in Microsoft Excel. Form for evaluation of suppliers is created so that its completion was for the evaluator, fast and easy. The Company may conduct more frequent evaluation of suppliers, for example, twice a year. For a reduction in the time required for the reporting of the results of the evaluation of the company's suppliers were designed template letters that can be sent to suppliers according to the relevant groups.
