Dlouhodobá nezaměstnanost v zemích Visegrádské čtyřky

Abstract

The thesis is focused on examining the long-term unemployment in the Visegrad countries (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia) specifically to that of the selected factors and to what extent is behind the development of long-term unemployment. First, the reader is familiar with the general theory of unemployment, then the theory of long-term unemployment are subsequently examined the relationship between long-term unemployment and the factors that should influence this type of unemployment. There are also already introduced the main panel data models - the basic model and the model with individual effects. Subsequently, through panel data models, first using the basic model, then use the model with fixed effects, examined the relationship long-term unemployment and selected factors within the Visegrad countries for the period 1998 - 2009.
