Abstract

Optimal working ability of public water supply chains may be effacted by several natural or antropogenic influences. Risk of decreasing yield of water sources or transfer ability of distribution chains always negatively influences citizens and public infrastructure. The risks are of course of different significance. Some of them are only local other may affect the whole production and distribution process. The most significant risk is exposure of rough water quality from subterranean or surface sources or affect on health safeguard of water feeders and important parts of distribution chains. The thesis deals – chronologically according to water distribution system - with single risks from source in spring area or water tower to final delivery of drinking water to customer. Also it shows and suggests how to eliminate different risks to acceptable rate concernig water supplying companies.
