Abstract

This Diploma thesis deals with design for new building project. Purpose of this building would be day care home for the elderly people. One of the main design aims, is to create a building with low energy demands. First part of the project documentation deals with building design, and it's impact on surrounding environment. Proposed object allows for 2 floors, and flat roofing structure, offering 23 units and living space for up to 43 elderly citizens. Next chapters describe proposals of forced ventilation, heating, and solar system for hot water. The main source for heating and for water heat exchanger of air-conditioning unit would be used assembly of two heat pumps air to water type. Essential component of Diploma thesis are attachments, where we find calculations and drawing documentation processed in the range of the needs of building services.
