Abstract

Diploma thesis supervisor: Ing. Nikola Vavřínová, Ph.D. The main objective of my diploma thesis was to develop project documentation for the construction of the Fitness Center in Velké Hoštice. The object is designed as a three-story above-ground building with a structural system consisting of a reinforced concrete skeleton system and infill masonry made of ceramic blocks. The building is covered with either a hipped roof made of glued laminated timber trusses or flat roofs with an attic. The proposed building will serve as a multifunctional center for a healthy lifestyle. The diploma thesis was developed according to the proposed attached study. The two main subjects of the thesis are a technical report on the construction part and a drawing part. The diploma thesis also includes a thermal assessment of the perimeter structures, the development of the building's energy label and a simplified calculation of the selected static part. The structure of a hipped roof, which is designed from glued laminated timber trusses, was assessed.
