Abstract

The theme of this diploma thesis is valuation of the housing association for owners. The appreciating was done till 31. 12. 2008. The diploma thesis is divided into three chapters – theoretical principles, company characterristics and valuation.

The first part of the diploma thesis contains definitions of the basic concepts, describes all kinds of valuation mathods, the theory od the valuation, strategic analysis and financial analysis. Second chapters includes basic information and description of the company, strategic analysis and financial analysis of the housing association. In the third chapters is the determination of the value of the housing association by using selected methods.

Accountig, substantial value are result of the appreciating of the housing association. The lower worth is substantial opposite accounting, which is derived from historical prices.
