Problematika bezpečnostního rizika implementace AWG v přístupových sítích

Abstract

In today’s world a large amount of information is transmitted over the computer network. These networks are largely no longer formed by a metallic line, but they are replaced by optical fiber cables. Because the transmitted data are often confidential, whether personal or professional data, it is important to guarantee their safe transfer from sender to recipient. This means that nobody should be able to change these data, or even intercept and eavesdrop them. And the issue of wiretaps in optical networks is engaged in my work. More specifically it deals with the issue of crosstalk in WDM-PON, namely optical multiplexer AWG, which is an essential component of most fiber optic networks. To verify that crosstalk data can be used to obtain transmitted data I will use software OptiSystem 14 from Optiwave and also I will make real measurements in the laboratory.
