Participace veřejnosti v procesu rozhodování a hospodaření s vodními zdroji

Abstract

Public participation is one of the most discussed themes in recent years, especially in the context landscape conservation and water management. The process of public involvement into decision-making process is long and difficult because of different conditions of regions or countries. Especially in the Czech Republic public participation is the issue often omitted. This paper mentions sense and adbantages of public participation and argues that the active participation in water management affairs presents new challenge to the ongoing socioeconomic and environmental development.
