Abstract

The diploma work deals with evaluation of possibility to utilize the waste biomass – cones of graceful spruce (Picea abies) for heavy metal removal – hexavalent chromium from water solution. In the work there are described as methodology of thermal and granularity treatment of samples of biosorbents, including as their chemical activation as also a methodology of graceful spruce samples analyze. Sorbents suitability was approved by determination of its adsorption capacity. When studying optimal conditions for biosorption, there were studied various biosorbents granularities, various molar concentrations for sorbents chemical activation, as well as various input concentrations of model metal solutions Cr(VI). There was assured heterogenity and samples quantity. The samples were analyzed by the method of spectrophotometric chromium Cr(VI) determination with 1,5 diphenylcarbazidem
