Abstract
The task of this bachelor thesis is introduce readers with basic principles of temporary carrier technology IPTV. By the help of this technology we can distribute television content of a data streams. The separate chapter describes the legislative requirements to operate such a system in the Czech Republic. I describe technology of IPTV and its possibilities, positives and negatives and difference between IPTV and other types of television broadcasting.
