Problematika pobřežní eroze v oblasti Vila Nova de Gaia (severní Portugalsko)

Abstract

Daná diplomová práce se zaměřuje na problematiku pobřežní eroze v oblasti Vila Nova de Gaia v severním Portugalsku. První část práce má charakter obecného popisu pobřežní eroze, její příčiny a následky. Praktická část je zaměřena na studii posunu pobřežní linie a výpočtu nárůstu pobřežní eroze. Na základě dosažených výsledků bylo zjištěno, že míra eroze v oblasti studie dosahuje v některých segmentech středního až vysokého ohrožení a dosavadní ochrana pobřeží není dostačující. Proto bude navrženo protierozní opatření, které má za úkol snížit dopad eroze na pobřežní oblast. Diplomová práce je doplněna o fotodokumentaci a mapovou dokumentaci v softwaru DSAS 4.0 (Digital Shoreline Analysis System), který je integrován v ArcGIS 10.5

The thesis focuses on the problem of coastal erosion in the area of Vila Nova de Gaia in Northen of Portugal. First part of thesis has character of decribe in generally coastal erosion, its causes and consequences. The practical part is focused on the study of the coastline and the calculation of increase coastal erosion. Based on these results, it was found that the level of erosion in the area of study in some segments is the medium to high risk and that protection of the coast is not sufficient. On the basis of it will be suggested erosion control measures, which has the task to reduce the impact of erosion on the coastal area. The thesis is completed with a photographic documentation and mapping documentation in the software DSAS 4.0 (Digital Shoreline Analysis System), which is integrate in ArcGIS 10.5
