Perspektivy vstupu ČR do HMU a předpokládané důsledky

Abstract

Recently, more and more discussion is held on the consequences of Euro adoption by Czech Republik. This is a very important topic, since this step is going to significantly affect the lives of citizens in our country. The topics of my thesis are: Prospects of Czech Republic accession to the HMU and the anticipated consequences. This work describes not only the history of the European Monetary Union, but also the problem of Euro. In one of the chapters I am describing the so-called convergence criteria that must be met by Czech Republic for eurozone entry and thereby accept the Eurocurency – the Euro. In my work, I also specify which of the criteria has been met by CR and which has not. In conclusion, I point out the possible benefits arising through adoption of the Euro, but also the disadvantages, which must be overcome by Czech Republic, and theretrough to become stronger of overall economic growth.
