Abstract
The Ph.D. thesis deals with pricing of electric power supplied to end customers. The aim focus is to design a new integral model with its key parameters excelling the model currently in use.
Practical application of theoretical findings the results of which are used for development of new method applied to pricing of electric power to the end customer has been included in chapter first. This chapter focuses on verification and quantification of assumed dependency of electric power price on selected power commodities using the correlation analysis methods.
Chapter second concerns setting of profit margins using MCA methods. That results in determination of order of individual options, whereas this order enables further quantification of amount of trader's margin used to process quotation for supply of electric power to the relevant end customer.
Chapter third describes the specific method for processing of quotation for electric power supply to the end customer. Better comparison is aided by both calculation modes for pricing of electric power supply, i.e. the existing one currently used and the new one designed for purpose of this dissertation. Both models have been applied to model tender for supply of electric power to end customers.
Prediction of the future development of electric power power prices, which is to serve the purpose of model tender for supply of electric power to end customers, has been processed by means of time series analysis of electric power prices in chapter four. Results produced by prediction of this time series are then compared to reality already known during elaboration of this dissertation.
Chapter five then represents a conclusion, which contains assessment with respect to objectives accomplished, besides other, as well as reference to potential benefits of this dissertation for practical applications and scientific progress.
