Abstract

The bachelor's thesis deals with the non-profit sector. Specifically, it focuses on non-governmental non-profit organisations whose characteristics are set out in the second chapter, along with the functions, breakdowns, legislation and description of individual non-governmental non-profit organisations. The third chapter explains the accounting of non-government non-profit organisations, accounting principles, categorisation of entities, but focuses mostly on financial statements, annual report and audit. The practical part of the bachelor's thesis consists of the characteristics, organizational structure and uses findings from the financial statements, annual report and audit of the selected nonprofit organization.
