Návrh a vývoj nástroje pro čtení a nastavování firmwarových adres kardiostimulátoru pro tester kardiostimulátoru

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the design and development of a tool whose function is primarily to read and set the pacemaker firmware addresses. This tool is an extension of existing programmers, which are used, for example, by doctors or biomedical technicians in hospitals, for routine setting and reading of parameters from implanted pacemakers. However, the tool proposed in this diploma thesis is intended exclusively for use in the development mode. It allows to developers of a modern software to directly read and set unavailable parameters by reading and setting the firmware addresses to devices. This functionality is very important for testing various scenarios during application development. Testing is performed using a pacemaker that is not implanted in the patient's body. This tool is not implemented in commonly supplied commercial programmers intended for medical facilities, mainly for safety reasons, but also due to its unusability in medical practice. In the diploma thesis, a test tool was first designed, which included an evaluation of the available functionalities of pacemaker testers in the development mode and the definition of basic requirements for this tool. Subsequently, the tool was developed, tested to confirm the functionality and safety of use, and finally implemented in the programmer's application.
