Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to design and explore the impact of the introduction of a new robotic workplace on productivity and quality of production. Analyse the current state of production, propose layout and suitable production equipment for compatibility with robot to achieve maximum elimination of human activity in production, to predict new production times aimed at savings. The theoretical part deals with production technologies at CNC milling centres. It compares the technologies of three axis and five axis CNC milling centres and describes industry 4.0 and its essence. The practical part focuses on the analysis and comparison of the current and new production process. The evaluation of the benefits was carried out by establishing new manufacturing procedures that already include a new technology. At the end of the thesis, the assessment of the evaluated results is made, and there are individual recommendations and proposals for further analysis that would support the importance of decision – making.
