Abstract
This thesis deals with the Customs Administration of the Czech Republic, respectively customs characteristic, including its functions . The first chapter focuses on the customs history and historical development in the Czech lands. The second chapter presents the theoretical knowledge of the issue . The following are definitions of selected problem areas and final evaluation.
