Abstract

This thesis deals with the Fire Department of the Zlín Region. The aim of this thesis was to analyze the Fire Brigade of the Zlín Region. I pointed out the status of the Fire and Rescue Brigade of the security forces. She described the internal organization of units in the Zlin region's capacity to act units and services rendered by members of the Fire and Rescue Service. I have focused on such activities, to deal with the fire brigade, which is their funding. I analyzed the financial management of the Fire Brigade of the Zlín Region. Financing Fire and Rescue Service is largely funded from the state budget and virtually no category will, therefore, are not used for the analysis of standard tools for assessing effectiveness. Instead, it used the analysis of costs and utility, based on which it is found that spending increases in specific areas of fire protection brings benefits to our society. In the last part of my thesis, I introduced the results of the research and recommendations.
