Abstract

The translated bachelor thesis is focused on the management of a Primary School and Primary Art School in the town of Petřvald during years 2005-2008. The aim is to analyze the management of chosen school and valorize if the current state of financing of basic education applied on given school, that is founded by the municipality, is convenient. The theoretical part is focused on a brief view of education issues, it´s position in public sector and transformation processes in the area of education. There is the analysis of management of school considering organizational changes and the development of number of pupils in the practical part. The attention is paid to the analysis of costs and proceeds, sources of funding and all-round the management of school. There were suggested some precautions based on the analysis that could contribute to increase the volume of financial means in order to ensure school activity.
