Abstract
This diploma thesis deals with occupational health and safety, with a specific focus on lone workers in the automotive industry. The objective of the thesis was to evaluate the functionality of modern protective devices in the context of identified risks and to propose an optimal technical solution for a selected workplace. In the practical part, a detailed risk analysis was conducted within a machining workshop at OPmobility. The results of the analysis confirmed a high level of hazard during lone work operations, which led to the proposal and implementation of TWIG One personal alarm device that feature automatic fall detection. The thesis also includes the development of standard operating procedures for the use of this technology. The system's functionality was successfully verified through a practical simulation of an employee's collapse, which helped determine the minimum possible time limit for sending emergency assistance.
