Zhodnocení vývoje vztahů Spojeného království Velké Británie a Severního Irska se zeměmi Commonwealthu

Abstract

Cílem této diplomové práce je podat ucelený pohled na historický vývoj vztahů Spojeného království, jakožto světové ekonomické velmoci, se zeměmi Commonwealthu a zhodnotit jejich současný stav a možnosti budoucího vývoje Commonwealthu v pobrexitovém období. Výzkumnou otázkou práce je, zda se změnila role Spojeného království v Commonwealthu během jeho existence a zda měl brexit dopad na vztahy těchto zemí.

The aim of this thesis is to provide a comprehensive view of the historical development of the relations of the United Kingdom, a world economic power, with the countries of the Commonwealth and to evaluate their current state and the possibilities of the Commonwealth’s future development in the post-brexit era. The research question of the thesis is whether the role of the United Kingdom in the Commonwealth has changed during its existence and whether Brexit has had an impact on the relations of these countries.
