Řízení mikrostruktury válcovaných elektrodových drátů

Abstract

The subject of the bachelor thesis is the design and comparison of different methods of cooling mode that will allow to achieve higher mechanical properties of processed steels. The thesis focuses on the design of a suitable combination of rolling temperature and controlled cooling mode. Low alloy steel material 10MnSi7 was used. At the end of the work we have summarized all the results in tables and graphs. We had a choice of four variants and the experiment was made possible at TŽ a.s. This allowed us to accurately evaluate the resulting structure of the rolled wire. According to the results, we found that by gradually accelerating the cooling, we achieved an adverse effect on the formation of the martensitic structure. It also has an effect on the evolution of the perlitic structure, whereby as cooling accelerated, our perlite structure gradually decreased.
