Abstract

In the first part of the bachelor thesis the author is focusing on the parameters of outdoor line and cable line of HV and LV networks. These parameters are electrical variables affecting the properties of the line, and are established by the material, construction of the line, cross-section of conductors and surroundings of the line. The second part deal with individual single-pole fault states. The third part is dedicated for compensation of ground capacitive currents during single-pole faults. The fourth and last theoretical part is dealing with localization of the fault. The practical part follows, in which the fault current of a ground fault and a single-phase short circuit is calculated.
