Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of photobiological safety. In the introductory chapters the theoretical part and the practical part are analyzed.
The theoretical part describes the basic properties of vision and various types of radiation in the electromagnetic spectrum of wavelengths, as well as the various diseases of the eye and skin which can occur due to the excessive effects of given radiation. There are also described methods of measurement and methods of evaluation for photobiological safety according to the valid standard according to which all evaluated results are taken into account.
In the practical part, measurements of ten different luminaires were carried out, the measurement data were both in the values and directly in the electromagnetic spectrum and subsequently evaluated according to the valid standard described in the theoretical part.
