Abstract
This study focuses on a proposal for a supporting data logging system for the maintenance department in an industrial company. Initially there is described a meaning of data acquisition and the technical documents regarding maintenance activities. Other parts analyse the actual state of the technical support and continue with the propose of one common structure for documents and data collection with the help of a relational database application.
