Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of employee’s liability insurance for damage caused an employer in a construction company. The aim was to evaluate the company's liability insurance and find out whether the employer's contribution to liability insurance is economically advantageous. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part, a literature review was carried out. In the practical part of the thesis, an analysis and evaluation were provided based on a questionnaire survey. The results show that in the construction company, there is insufficient awareness as it comes to liability insurance and that only few liability insurances are taken out. In the conclusion, recommendations are formulated for executive director on how to increase awareness and the number of liability insurances taken out by the company employees. Furthermore, the economic advantage of the company's contribution to the employee´s liability insurance is described in detail.
