Metodika radiometrického měření totální emisivity materiálů

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the development of a methodology for radiometric measurement of the total emissivity of a sample from the bottom of a graphite crucible and a ceramic material with a surface treatment as a function of temperature. Emissivity is a key material parameter affecting heat transfer by radiation and is of fundamental importance in the field of energy, thermal equipment and materials engineering. The thesis summarizes the theoretical foundations of heat transfer by radiation and certain methods for determining emissivity. The main part is focused on the design of an experimental measurement set-up, a description of the methodology used and the evaluation of the measured data. The result of the thesis is the determination of the dependence of the total emissivity of selected materials on temperature and an assessment of the accuracy of the measurement method used.
