Abstract

The goal of this work is the analysis of the materials used for production of bicycles. The work describes the history of materials from the birth of bicycle to contemporary materials. In detail are described aluminum alloys, composite materials based on carbon fibres and steel. In the end of the work are these materials clearly compared.
