Abstract

This bachelor thesis is focused on stability evaluation of rock walls through the use of qualification methods and methods based on the risk analysis in the stone quarries of the Czech Republic. While these methods are used for stability evaluation of rock walls abroad quite often, in the Czech Republic are these methods used only sporadically still. The primary purpose of this thesis is to verify the application of these methods in the stone quarries of the Czech Republic. For the appropriate classification methods were chosen method SMR (Slope Mass Rating) and RHR (Rockfall Hazard Rating). These selected classification methods were applied to the reverse slope already inactive Godula sandstone quarry. The results of both methods confirmed the applicability of classification methods for stability evaluation of rock walls in the stone quarries.
