Abstract

The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of handling coffee grounds, which is currently being discussed within the framework of the circular economy as part of sustainable development. In the pursuit of ecological behavior and solving the problems of waste management through waste sorting, recycling and reuse, the possibility of using coffee grounds as an ecologically favorable and multi-purpose resource is obvious. The main objective of the work is to assess different ways of handling coffee waste and its potential use.
