Abstract

The work is dealing with the problems how to protect prison areas. It describes contemporary risks connected to prison protection. The theoretical part of this work intents on legislature in the sphere of protection, safety planning and operating. The necessary precondition for successful and effective security policy is the ability to quickly and accurately assess security threats and risks. The results of such analysis constitute background for choosing the strategies of maintaining or increasing the security of the object and present basis for balanced decisions and stating priorities on the field of security policy suitable for limiting safety risks in prison areas.
