Abstract

This thesis provides information about TRIP steels and their characteristics, composition, micro-structure a transformations during heat treatment. Thesis also follows up hydrogen influence on the properties and fracture characteristics of selected types of TRIP steels, namely steel C-Mn-Si-Al and steel C-Mn-Si-P. The hydrogen influence is studied by tensile test strength on electrolytic hydrogenate samples. The evaluation of hydrogen influence on properties and fracture characteristics of selected types of TRIP steels is made on the base of analysis of fracture micro mechanism after tensile strength test and changes of mechanical properties. The results show a rather low resistance studied TRIP steels to hydrogen embrittlement. Low resistance to hydrogen embrittlement was observed in the variant with higher aluminum content, especially due to the increased content of nonmetallic inclusions based on AlN.
