Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with testing the quality of painted aluminum wheels at Cromodora Wheels s.r.o. It focuses on how to properly set up and carry out selected tests that evaluate both the appearance and durability of multi-layer coatings. The first part explains how the coating process works, what can affect the final result, and what quality standards are involved. The practical part covers specific tests like color shade, gloss, coating thickness, adhesion, corrosion resistance (CASS), humidity, and pressure washer resistance. For each of them, the procedure, equipment used, and evaluation method are described. The goal was to set up testing procedures that are practical, reliable, and aligned with the actual needs of production.
