Abstract

The thesis is focused on defining the inventory management methods, their evaluation and proposes options for improvement. Its purpose is to describe the stocks and their main functions, inventory management, inventory optimization, and identification of costs associated with them. Furthermore, it describes methods of inventory management, such as Kanban, JIT and ABC and XYZ analysis.
