Řízení systémů pomocí programovatelných automatů Beckhoff

Abstract

This thesis deals with the use of Beckhoff programmable logic controllers for the purposes of machine automation. The main objective of the thesis is the design and implementation of a demonstration system that utilizes an industrial control system by Beckhoff with connected I/O modules, sensors, and a drive. Using the TwinCAT 3 software environment, a control program is created that ensures the control of a sequential application, the collection of time durations of individual steps, and their subsequent processing and visualization. The obtained data are stored in a database and used for evaluation of the application process and comparison of individual attempts. The result is a fully functional model that demonstrates the capabilities of modern industrial control systems based on PLCs, including the implementation of safety features, communication via the EtherCAT bus, and integration of higher-level systems for data acquisition, storage, and visualization.
