Výroba a skladování baterií do elektromobilů z hlediska požární bezpečnosti staveb

Abstract

This thesis deals with the production and storage of EV batteries from a fire safety perspective. The thesis is divided into three parts, with the first part serving as a theoretical introduction to the principle of functionality of EV batteries, their types and safety risks, including the legal basis that addresses this issue in relation to safety. The second part is oriented towards the prevention of battery failures, starting with automation, through safety in handling, transport and storage, to temperature detection methods. Here, the thesis deals with specific detection methods applied in real operations, excluding common methods such as temperature and smoke detectors for fires. For each of the methods addressed, a practical example installation is proposed and a description of the factors that may affect the installation is given. The third part focuses on the punitive part of fault resolution. Here, the method of evaluating the extraordinary event, possible methods of performing quarantines, and finally specific methods of extinguishing EV batteries are outlined.
