Abstract

This master's thesis focuses on occupational safety and health (OSH) during the storage of electrical cells, primarily lithium-ion batteries. The theoretical part provides a general overview of electrical cells, a comprehensive literature review, and an overview of potential risk sources. The practical section of the work is dedicated to experimental testing of cells under various forms of mechanical damage. The objective of this thesis is to analyze the impacts on occupational safety and health resulting from selected mechanical and thermal disruptions of electrochemical processes in specific electrical cells during their storage.
