Zhodnocení hospodaření vybrané zdravotní pojišťovny

Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the management of a selected health insurance company. First, the basic concepts relating to public health insurance, such as the rights and obligations of the insured, the characteristics of individual premium payers and the construction of premiums, are explained. The next part is devoted to the description of health insurance companies and their management. An analysis of the performance of the Czech Industrial Health Insurance Company in the years 2012 to 2016 is then made according to the funds created. The assessment of the Czech Industrial Health Insurance Company's performance is based on revenues and expenditures, and their main items, public health insurance premiums and medical services. An important indicator is the number of insured persons and their development. The Czech Industrial Health Insurance Company is compared with VZP ČR and ZPMV ČR according to indicators, which are the revenues and expenditures per 1 insured and the number of insured per 1 employee.
