Analýza a implementace slevového portálu

Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis, design, and implementation of Comparyo, a modern discount portal that integrates price comparison features with an inquiry system. The primary goal of the project was to develop a robust and scalable web application capable of automated high-volume data processing from partner shop feeds. The theoretical part analyzes existing market solutions and defines a decoupled system architecture consisting of a client interface and an application server. The practical part covers the backend implementation using the FastAPI framework, the utilization of the Elasticsearch search engine for efficient catalog navigation, and the development of the user interface using the React library, with an emphasis on clean design and responsiveness. A significant contribution of the thesis is the implementation of automated data ingestion via XML feeds and the integration of an intelligent shopping assistant utilizing semantic search. The resulting portal represents a comprehensive platform for effective consumer decision-making and direct interaction between customers and merchants.
