Abstract
Bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation of the financial and economic situation of the company ŠKODA VAGONKA ltd. The analysis was made for years 2009 to 2014. In the first chapter is characterized the company ŠKODA VAGONKA ltd. The second chapter concerns theoretical part, where are explained the basic concepts and methods of financial analysis. In the third chapter are included practical applications of theoretical knowledge. Here are used basic financial analysis methods, like horizontal analysis, vertical analysis and ratio analysis. In the conclusion of the thesis are interpreted results from the financial analysis and on their basis are proposed recommendations for the company.
