Abstract

The topic of the diploma thesis is the analysis of environmental management with a focus on the accounting area in a selected business company. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical, which is divided into two chapters. It describes sustainable development, environmental instruments, environmental management, and environmental accounting. The second part is practical, focusing on the practical application of the theoretical definition. It introduces environmental certificate and environmental accounting in the selected company.
