Abstract
The development of technology and digitalization in recent years has profoundly affected the functioning of businesses across industries, with artificial intelligence (AI) playing an increasingly important role not only in technical and manufacturing processes, but also in human resource (HR) management. This bachelor thesis focuses on the use of AI in HR processes, where it offers a range of opportunities - from streamlining recruitment to processing HR data to supporting decision-making. However, it also brings challenges in the areas of ethics, transparency and maintaining a human approach. The aim of this paper is to compare the extent and forms of AI implementation in companies of different types - from SMEs to large corporations, including differences between government institutions and the private sector. The analysis also includes an assessment of the implementation of the objectives of the National Strategy of Artificial Intelligence at the level of ministries of the Czech Republic and its impact on HR processes in public administration.
